Down in Gainesville for Christmas. Was able to squeeze in a short run this morning, which was great, because I didn't think I'd be able to (family plans).
Went well, except for the weather: 72 degrees with 91% humidity. Yep, welcome to Florida. Quite the shock to the system, considering all of my runs this week up in Maine were on snowshoes. The beard is of benefit in the cold. In this warm Florida weather, not so much.
Ran 4.1 miles @ 7:43/mile pace.
Paved roads.
Slightly hilly.
Lower 70s, partly cloudy, very humid.
Brooks Mach 13, shorts, short sleeved shirt.
